Jabatan Kejuruteraan Mekanikal(JKM) merupakan sebuah jabatan yang terbesar di Politeknik Kuching Sarawak(PKS). Kursus-kursus di Jabatan ini bertujuan melahirkan para lulusan yang berkemahiran dalam mengendalikan alat-alat mekanikal dan seterusnya dapat menghasilkan tenaga kerja separa profesional yang berkualiti bagi menampung keperluan sektor Awam dan Swasta di Malaysia
