“Future Talent Synergy: Unveiling Excellence in TVET, WorldSkills, and Industry Voices"

The ASTECH Townhall, a key sub-event of ASTECH 2024, focuses on building strong partnerships across various sectors – industry, government, and academia. This academic forum fosters collaboration to address the critical challenge of preparing the workforce for the future. Themed "Future Talent Synergy: Unveiling Excellence in TVET, WorldSkills, and Industry Voices," the townhall tackles the issue of skills development. Renowned speakers, including a technical and vocational education (TVET) professor and a WorldSkills Competition coach, offer insightful perspectives on the importance of TVET in creating an inclusive workforce. Additionally, representatives from the Skills Department and industry leaders share their expertise on the complex relationship between education, skill development, and industry needs. These discussions encourage collaboration and offer valuable insights into preparing a workforce equipped with the necessary skills for the future.
